Cookie Policy
A straightforward explanation of what cookies and local storage we use on bryom.ai, and why.
Last updated: March 1, 2026
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — like whether you're logged in or what your preferences are.
We also use local storage, which is similar but lives in your browser's storage rather than being sent back to our servers with every request.
What we use and why
| Cookie / Storage | Purpose | Duration | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in to your Bryom account on the web dashboard | Session (cleared when you close browser) | Yes, if using web login |
| Preference storage | Remembers UI preferences like dismissed banners | 1 year | No |
| Analytics (anonymised) | Aggregate page view counts to understand which content is useful. No personal data collected. | 30 days | No |
What we don't use
We do not use:
- Advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- Third-party social media cookies
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
- Cookies that build profiles for marketing purposes
Google Fonts
Our website loads the Lexend typeface from Google Fonts. This causes a request to Google's servers, which may set a cookie or log your IP address according to Google's own privacy policy. If you prefer to avoid this, you can use a browser extension that blocks font requests.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies entirely. Note that disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.
Common browser cookie settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our cookie usage changes. The "last updated" date reflects the most current version.
